With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Doris Landon of Cannon Falls, Minnesota, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Doris left this world on April 14, 2025 at the age of 98, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, A. Winfred Anderson and Annie Josephine Anderson (Aslakson); her husband Paul R. Landon; her grandson Allen Hopkins; her son-in-law Larry Hopkins; her sisters, Donna Pasch (Lawrence), Almira Ramstad (Lowell) and Ardis Durdahl (Charles); and her sister-in-law Dorothy Anderson.
She is survived by: her children, Mike (Sonja) of Cannon Falls, Linda Lundell (Ed) of Sundance, Sam (Tammy) of Prior Lake, Priscilla Hopkins of Cannon Falls and Sheila Dunham (Geoff) of Saint Francis; her grandchildren, Andy, Ashleigh, Brandi, Jeanna, Dustin, Casey, Corey, Josh, Misty, Angie, Rick, Chrissy, Tiffany, Wesley, Robert and Danielle; her brothers, Russell (Betty) and Donald Anderson; and her close friend Kenny Larsen. She is also survived by 30 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 28th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the First English Lutheran Church (511 W Belle St, Cannon Falls, MN 55009). A burial was held on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 at 1:15 PM at the Vasa Lutheran Cemetery (15235 Norelius Rd, Welch, MN 55089).
