He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Dale Sr. Covington and Juanita Valera Covington (Langston); his daughter Tamera; his sister Faith Bollinger; his wife Linda; his children, Amy and Matthew; and his granddaughter Nikki. He was also cherished by other loving relatives and friends.

The family prefers no flowers. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the family in Dale's memory for final expenses.
