He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Dobson and Patricia Dobson (Horrigan). He is survived by: his wife Frances Truitt; his stepchildren, Audrey Truitt and David Truitt; his siblings, Curtis Dobson, Jaime Ansell (Fran), Cindy Dobson and Charles Dobson; his half-brother Erich Dobson; his mother-in-law Joyce Truitt; and his siblings-in-law, Karen Truitt and Paul Truitt. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 10:00 AM and from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Our Saviour's Lutheran Church (30370 County 24 Blvd, Cannon Falls, MN 55009). A burial was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Cannon Falls Cemetery (721 State St E, Cannon Falls, MN 55009).
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the River Bluff Humane Society in Goodhue County, or the Animal Ark in Hastings.
