He is survived by: his wife Frances Truitt; his stepchildren, Audrey Truitt and David Truitt; his siblings, Curtis Dobson, Jaime Ansell (Fran), Cindy Dobson and Charles Dobson; his half-brother Erich Dobson; his mother-in-law Joyce Truitt; and his siblings-in-law, Karen Truitt and Paul Truitt. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the River Bluff Humane Society in Goodhue County, or the Animal Ark in Hastings.
