He was predeceased by: his parents, Abraham Soine and Alvina Soine (Carlson); his siblings, Dennis, Laurie, Kevin and Mark; and his sister-in-law Tammy Jamison.

He is survived by: his wife Carol; his sons, Kyle Soine Erickson (Jana Kim Erickson) of Rochester and Travis Soine of Red Wing; his stepchildren, T. J. Bail of Minneapolis, Jessica Wilson of Faribault and Krista Odili (Franklin) of Fargo, ND; his grandchildren, Gunnar Erickson, Natalie Wilson, Brick McGovern and Madeline; and his brother Jeremy Soine of Cannon Falls. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
