He is survived by: his father Ralph Rich of Lakeville; his wife Julie of Cannon Falls; his children, JoBeth Thompson (Scott) of Lakeville, Jamie Hanson (Gavin) of St. Paul and Ryan (Kelly); his grandchildren, Ella, Kate, Sam, Luke, Jack, Wyatt and Reese; his sister Cindy Barnes (Kelly); his niece Amanda Barnes; his siblings-in-law, MaryEllen Erickson (Myron) of Roseau, Jerry Sandberg (Phyllis) of Princeton, Kenny Sandberg (Sharon) of Princeton and Tom Sandberg (Ida) of Princeton; and his pet Kai.
