He was predeceased by: his parents, Leroy Salmon and Maxine Salmon (Scott); his daughter Sherry Ann Olivier Smith; his sister-in-law Joyce Salmon; and his great grandchild Jessa Olivier.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Denelsbeck Meyer of Canby, MN; his son Brian Salmon (Debi Holzhauer) of Tea, SD; his grandson Gerod Olivier (Melissa) of Brandon, SD; his stepchildren, Valerie Halvorson (Todd Patzer) of Madison, MN and Keith Meyer (Shawna) of Alexandria, MN; his stepgrandchildren, Rachel Halvorson, Sarah Halvorson, Molly Halvorson, Kayda Meyer, Talan Meyer and Rhett Meyer; his great grandchildren, Macyn Olivier, Kambrie Olivier and Lena Olivier; his siblings, Donald Salmon (Maria) of DePere, WI and Mary Kappenman (Tom) of Sioux Falls, SD; and his former wife Peggy Roe Sik of Canby.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 8th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and on Monday, December 9th 2024 at 9:30 AM at the Antelope Hills Christian Church (2220 190th St, Canby, MN 56220). A prayer was held on Sunday, December 8th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
