She was predeceased by: her parents, Aulton Miller and Ruth Miller (Stefferud); her husband Paul Severson of Gary, SD; and her in-laws, Duane Severson (Connie) and Delores Severson.

She is survived by: her children, Rob Severson and Paula Kontz (Todd Voss); her granddaughter Shelby Frank (Zac); her great grandchildren, Palmer and Miles Frank; and her brother-in-law Elroy Severson. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
