He is survived by: his son Jim Phillips (Carissa) of Savoy, IL; his stepchildren, Carol Marie and Richard Hemish (Doreen); his grandchildren, Darby Hemish (Carrie), Amy Vanderlei (Craig), Lori Meyer (Randy) and Jeri Whortenbury (Tom); his great grandchildren, Morgan, Grace, Lila, Lexi, Bree, Jon, Carmen, Eddie, Owen, Iven, Gavin, Mason and Brenten; his brother Joe Phillips (Martha) of Good Thunder, MN; and his sisters-in-law, Darlene Phillips of Owatonna, MN and Mary Phillips.
