He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernhard Fokken and Fanny Fokken (Knoblauch); his stepmother Emma Zell (Roenspiess); his stepbrother Gert Zell; his brother Paul Fokken; and his daughter Gail Fokken.
He is survived by: his wife Lucille (Hillman); his children, Lyle (Guy Allen) of Onalaska, WI, Mark of Marshall, MN, Ryan of Columbia Heights, MN and Sara Stoks (Corey) of Gary, SD; his brothers, Bernhard Fokken (Heidi) of Plymouth, MN, Erich Fokken (Celina) of Canby, MN and Theodore Fokken (Bonnie) of St. Louis; and his sister-in-law Judy Fokken of Canby, MN.. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Monday, January 27th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM. A prayer was held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 5:30 PM and on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Houseman Funeral Home, Birk Chapel (111 5th St E, Canby, MN 56220).
