Lavonne Winters Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lavonne Winters of Canby, Minnesota, born in Olivia, Minnesota, who passed away on November 12, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Jim; her parents, Leo and Johanna; her brother Bob; and her siblings-in-law, Orville, Ken, Roy and Diana.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Kelly (Tad) of Taos, NM and Jami; and her siblings, Mary, JoAnn, Tom, Kathy and Bill. She is also survived by many in-laws, nieces, and nephews.
The family is establishing a scholarship in Lavonne's name through Canby's Blue and Gold Foundation. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made online in tribute to her via this link to the Southwest Initiative or through checks made out to the "Blue and Gold Foundation.".
