She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Spanton and Florence Spanton (Strain); her husband Gerald Abner; her son Douglas Abner; and her granddaughter Dana Monson.
She is survived by: her children, Gloria Monson (Abner) and Dan Abner (Sylvia); and her grandchildren, Lisa Birch (Mark) and Tracy Monson. She is also survived by six great grandchildren.
