He is survived by: his spouse Shirley Mae Gross; his children, William Wernisch (Dawn), Barbara Dover (Maylon), Nancy Willaby (Dan) and Ilene Richard (Dave); and his siblings, Rieny Wernisch (Joyce) of Rapid City, SD, Alice Abbett and Sacramento. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
