He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Bach and Elizabeth Bach (Homan); his wife Phyllis Zietlow; his son Chad; and his brothers, Roman, Wilfred, Edward and Alvin.
He is survived by: his children, Mark Bach of St. Leo, MN, Mike "Bubba" Bach (Dixie) of Boyd, MN and Shannon Schmitz of Cloquet, MN; his grandchildren, Damian, Kayla, Devin Bach, Justin Schmitz (Melissa) and Krista Schmitz (Levi); his siblings, Donald Bach (Donna), James Bach (Joni), Evelyn Lacek (Andrew) and Kathleen Ochocki (Ralph); and his close friend Irene Polman. He is also survived by four great grandchildren.
