He was predeceased by: his parents, Ted Fairchild and Clarice Fairchild; and his grandson Levi Hansen. He is survived by: his wife Cindy Potz; his children, Stacie Dohlmann (Scott), Travis Potz (Tonya), Angela Johnson (Jeffery) and Karen Potz; his grandchildren, Alanna Huston (Craig), Lucas Dohlmann (Gladys), Zachary Dohlmann, Hailee Rickenbaugh (Dylan), Cheyanne Dohlmann, Sophia Fluit, Shania Huston, Sierra Potz, Mason Potz, Tyler Hiedeman, Ryan Hiedeman, Blake Hiedeman, Hannah Hiedeman and Karter Potz; and his great grandchildren, Eternity and Colson Rickenbaugh.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Houseman Funeral Home, Birk Chapel (111 5th St E, Canby, MN 56220). A prayer was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 7:00 PM to 7:30 PM and on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 9:00 AM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Nicolai Lutheran Church (103 Humphrey Dr, Canby, MN 56220).
