She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Eggers and Gladys Eggers (Goerndt); her grandmother Ethel; and her siblings, James, Stan Eggers, Georgia Lee Eggers, Ruth Ann Crain (John) and Jane Osborn (George).
She is survived by: her husband Donald Berndt; her children, Ethel, Med Aide, Michelle Anderson (Doug) of Sioux Falls, SD, Jeffrey Berndt (Ken Willock) of Sacramento, CA and Melissa Halsne (Mike) of Minneapolis, MN; her grandchildren, Kari Waderich (Josiah), Jana Anderson, Ryan Halsne (Kelly Condon) and Jake Halsne (Olivia); her great grandchildren, Hazel and Hugo Waderich; her siblings, Marjorie Pullen (Pat), Mary Ann Rucktaeschel, Francis Eggers and David Eggers (Carol); and her sister-in-law Deb Eggers.
The family will direct any memorials to organizations that Ethel supported.
