He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Sik and Martha Sik (Panka); his former wife Joan Grengs; his sons, Lawrence and William; his siblings-in-law, Joseph and Cundi Grengs; his great grandchildren, Braylee Pridal, Ivy Woehlhaff and Emersyn Sik; his siblings, Clarence, Marcellus, James and Gertrude Bach (Roman); and his siblings-in-law, Walter Antony, Isadore Citrowske and Wayne Thompson.
He is survived by: his wife Madie VanDerostyne; his children, Harvey Sik (Jayne), Doug Sik (Kathy), Denise Peterson (Gary), LaVonne Kockelman (Jerry), LeRoy, Theresa "Tess" Pridal (Jerry), Cynthia Nuy (Greg), Michael Sik (Kellie Jones), Howard Sik (Mary) and Emil Jr. Sik (Jennifer); his stepchildren, Rick VanDerostyne (Deb), Julie VanDerostyne (Dan Ahlstrom) and Scott VanDerostyne (Stacy); and his siblings, Dorothy Citrowske, Cecelia Thompson, Bob Sik (Peggy) and Tony Sik (Joan). He is also survived by many sisters- and brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews, and many great friends and neighbors.
Memorial funds will be directed to St. Peter's Catholic Church for masses for Dad and Mom, St. Peter's School, St. Peter's CCW, and Sanford Hospice.
