He was predeceased by: his parents, Aaron Emil and Bertha Lillian Straw (Thompson); his grandson Aaron Aubert; his stepgreat-granddaughter Ceona Mitchell; and his sister Jacquelyn Reverts.
He is survived by: his former wife Elaine Speicher; his wife Donna Straw of Pipestone, MN; his children, Sue Reader (Robert) of Ashland, WI and John Straw (Melissa) of Schofield, WI; his stepsons, Brian Aubert (Valinda) of Pipestone and Gregory Aubert (Patti) of Sauk Rapids, MN; and his sister Kay Skorr (Arlen) of Mankato, MN.. He is also survived by four grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; and three step-great-grandchildren.
