He was predeceased by: his parents, William Sr. Mateer and Mildred Mateer; his wife Yvonne; and his daughter-in-law Cheryl Mateer. He is survived by: his children, Pam Chamberlain (Jerry), Vickey Nelson (Dave), Roger Mateer (Cindy), Darren Mateer (Linda) and Lee Mateer (Kimberly); his grandchildren, Meghan Gardner (Ben), Aaron Chamberlain, Sarah Hudella (Nik), Kyle Nelson (Christina), Lindsey Preiss (Phil), William Min Mateer, Kevin Mateer, Sasha Blackledge (Trevor), Brittaney Pierce (Jon), Eliza Mateer and Logan Mateer; and his great grandchildren, Aiden, Emme, Bailey, Vivian, Jason, Brody, Holden, William, Makenzee, Daniel and Harley. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
