She was predeceased by: her parents, Garrit Byker and Doris Byker (Norman); her husband Roger Elmstrand (Dwight Oman); her daughter Cindy Edstrom; her grandson Ryan Edstrom; and her brothers, Gene and Gary Byker.

She is survived by: her children, Randy Elmstrand of Cambridge, Brad Elmstrand (Joni) of Cambridge and Laurie Elmstrand; her stepson Mike Scheiber (Kristen) of Cary, NC; her grandsons, Garret Edstrom (Danielle) of Lake Elmo, Justin Llanas (Jim) of Minneapolis and Barry Elmstrand (Angel Olson) of Cambridge; her granddaughter-in-law Jennie Edstrom of St. Louis Park; her stepgrandchildren, Jessica and Jackson Scheiber of Cary, NC; and her great grandchildren, Everett, Norah Edstrom, Vincent and Ivy Edstrom. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
