He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Setala and Martha Setala; his wife Janice Setala; his daughter Martha Steinke; his daughter-in-law Jennifer Setala; and his siblings, Wilho Setala and Anja Lanhart.
He is survived by: his son John Setala of Nowthen; his grandchildren, Matt Steinke, Phil Setala (Kelly), Maggie Hecht (Joe) and Nina Setala (John); and his great grandchildren, McCoy, Alexander, Zackery, Maverick, Olivia and Connor.
