Theodora E. "Teddi" Gieseke, passed away on March 4, 2024, at GracePointe Crossing in Cambridge, MN. Born on the last day of 1949 in Duluth, MN, to Earl and Clella (Blakenship) Maheu. She shared 74 years of life's adventures, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories.
She was a graduate of Spring Lake Park School. Her professional journey was marked by a distinguished 34-year tenure at the Bell Phone Company, where she retired.
Teddi was the beloved wife of Warren Gieseke, with whom she shared over three decades of marriage after their wedding on October 10, 1992, in Naples, Florida. Their partnership was a testament to love, support, and mutual respect.
Beyond her professional life, Teddi's heart was truly at home with her beloved Maltese dogs. As the founder of Snow Wyte Maltese, she raised and bred these beautiful creatures with a level of care and excellence that was admired by all who knew her. Teddi's love for her dogs was more than a hobby; it was a reflection of her nurturing spirit and her deep appreciation for the bonds between humans and their animal companions.
Those who knew Teddi would describe her as an interesting soul. Her passionate nature was evident in every endeavor she undertook, and her kindness was felt by everyone she encountered.
Teddi was preceded in death by her parents; her brother James Guitar and two nephews Stephen Chromulak and Curtis Chromulak.
Teddi is survived by her devoted husband, Warren Gieseke; sister Marilyn Pelz; niece Tanya VanReese; great nephews Jacob VanReese and Jeff VanReese and great niece Sarah Loveland.
As we say goodbye to Teddi, we celebrate a life well-lived and a heart that loved deeply. Her light will continue to shine in the hearts of her loved ones.
