He was predeceased by: his parents, John Dahlin and Mary Dahlin (Joslin); his wife Loretta; and his sons, Brian and Bryce.

He is survived by: his sons, Brad Dahlin (Karen) of Texas, Brett Dahlin (Anne) of Colorado and Barry Dahlin (Penny) of Ramsey. He is also survived by six grandchildren, six great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
