He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Berkner and Fredella Berkner; his sister Lois Schewe (Albert); his brother-in-law Bruce Schmitz; and his son-in-law Kurt Beck.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon; his child Robin Kallevig (Kevin) of New London, MN.; his granddaughter Beth Beck (Chris) of Little Canada, MN.; his great grandchildren, Jackson Beck, Beckett and Sadie Possail; and his sister Marlis Schmitz. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
