He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James Cooper and Pearl Cooper (Myrick); his children, Robert Cooper (Carla) of Bridgeman, MI, Kelly Whyte (Michael) of Missouri, Kirby Cooper (Catherine) of North Carolina, Blaine Cooper (Nancy) of Harris and James Edward Cooper (Shannon) of North Dakota; and his brother Ralph Cooper (Roberta) of South Carolina. He was also cherished by 16 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren.
