He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Schoenecker and Louise Schoenecker; his son John; his siblings, Louise Schoenecker, Elaine Ruhland (Mel), Bette Conners (Dick), Jean Boldt (George), Bud Schoenecker (Lorrayne), James Schoenecker, Richard Schoenecker, Tom Schoenecker, Rog Schoenecker, Bob Schoenecker (Rita) and Jerry Schoenecker; and his brother-in-law DeWayne Schneider.

He is survived by: his wife Carla Dell Knippel; his daughters, Kelly White (Jason), Kathie Barberis (Marco) and Kari Barber (Rich); his grandchildren, Allie White, Nolan and Lucy Barber; his siblings, Teri Schneider, Mary Morgan (Daryl) and Dave Schoenecker (Ev); and his sisters-in-law, Edna Schoenecker, Ruth Schoenecker and Mary Schoenecker. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.
