She was predeceased by: her parents, Martha Simon and H. F. Reed Simon; and her husband Victor L. Benting. She is survived by: her sons, Jeffrey (Shelley) of Cambridge and Wayne (Julie) of Cambridge; and her grandchildren, Bethany of Otsego, Amy (Josh) of Champlin, Rian (Brittany) of Rochester and Adam (Lindsay) of Coon Rapids. She is also survived by five great grandchildren.
