He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Hornung and Opal Hornung (Lyman); and his sister Linda McWherter. He is survived by: his wife Julie Thorsbakken; his children, Kari Clappier (Eric), Jill Hills (Jason), Joslyn Manske (Andy) and John, Jr. (Kristen); his siblings, Steve (Gayle) and Lisa Kaldenberg (Jerry); and his grandchildren, Allison, Elizabeth, Julia, Justin, Tucker and Harrison. He is also survived by many relatives and friends.
