It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John C. Witschen of Cambridge, Minnesota, born in Saint Cloud, Minnesota, who passed away on November 7, 2023, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Cyril Witschen and Bernadette Schreiner; and his sister Rosie Benoit. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Witschen (Zinken) of Anthony's Catholic Church; his daughters, Christy Gaikowski (Chuck) and Tanya Witschen; his granddaughters, Rachel Gaikowski and Heather Gaikowski; his sisters, Gloria Kydd (Mike), JoAnn Lembcke (Jeff) and Carol Soine; and his in-laws, Laurie Smith (Roger) and Judy Schumann (Larry). He is also survived by 16 nieces and nephews, 20 great nieces and nephews.

“Mary Ann, I was so surprised and saddened when I heard of John's passing. I was able to know and understand John so well while we worked together for over 20 years at Libra. His stand-up comedian performance every Christmas was always so enjoyable. I have missed John the last few years since his retirement.
