It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Porter of Cambridge, Minnesota, born in Hibbing, Minnesota, who passed away on August 14, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Christian Hookland and Ruth Hookland (Legacy); her grandson Bailey Freeman; and her siblings, Joyce Hookland, Ron and Bob Hookland.
She is survived by: her husband William Porter (Bill); her children, Les Freeman (Greta), Zoe Profant, Joan Townsend (Roy) and John Freeman (Rhonee); her brother Chris Hookland (Xiaoying); her grandchildren, Brent, Jake (Leah), Jess, Nycole (Zach), Brady (Darcie), Jonah, Alaxandra, Lori and Addison; and her great grandchildren, Madelyn, Brylee, Brea, Jordan, Lincoln and Emeris. She is also survived by other friends and relatives.
