He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Poehler and Tunie Poehler; and his sisters, Dorothy and Gertrude. He is survived by: his wife Margie Kiel; his daughters, Tasha of Minneapolis and Megan of Cambridge; and his siblings, Harold Poehler, Richard Poehler, Elaine Peterson of Glencoe, Adeline Magras of Howard Lake, George, Arnold, Albert, Marvin and Robert Poehler. He is also survived by his daughters and family.
