He was predeceased by: his wife Grace Laurine Loftsgard (Lien); his siblings, Eugene Loftsgard (Pearl), Laurel Loftsgard (Carol) and Ruth Larson; and his siblings-in-law, Leonard Lien (Isabelle), Hazel Jacobson (Charles), Floyd Lien (Orena), Wallace Lien (Hazel) and Esther Rush (Floyd).
He is survived by: his children, Gary Loftsgard (Debbie) of Pahrump, Brion Loftsgard (Cindy) of Plymouth, MN and Debora Bloyer (Clyde) of Cambridge, MN; his grandchildren, Jessica Ryan (Joshua Kelch), Jason Bloyer (Annie), Nathan Loftsgard (Brianne), Joshua Bloyer (Keri), Jenna Reeves (David), Cole Loftsgard and Victoria Bloyer; his brother-in-law Gene Larson; and his sister Eleanor Alexander. He is also survived by nine great grandchildren.
