He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Schroeder and Florence Schroeder; his wife Loretta Herrick; his grandson Ben Schroeder; and his brother Donald Schroeder.
He is survived by: his children, Kristen Smoyer (Randy), David Schroeder (Lynne) and Kay Namovich (Jim); and his sister Darleen Wieland. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
