He is survived by: his grandsons, Brandon Bevins and Justin Evans; his wife Donna (Cottrell); his daughter Carmen Stepan (Steven); his grandson Austin Bevins of Mahtomedi, MN.; his siblings-in-law, Barb VanDerShaegen, Yvonne Cottrell (Petry) of Hinkley, MN, Linda Williams (Jerry) of Harris, MN and Dennis Cottrell (Joyce); and his nephews, Brian Cottrell, Bradley Cottrell (Bruce Cottrell), Trevor (Brent Williams) and Mark Williams of North Branch, MN..
