He was predeceased by: his parents, Billie Austin and Elroy Austin; his grandparents, Bill, Vanita Nordeen, Tom and Irene Madland; his siblings, William Austin and Lynn Austin; his parents-in-law, Eddie and Naomi Erickson; his brother-in-law Jim Erickson; and his nephew Derek Haynes.
He is survived by: his wife Cathy (Erickson); his brother Randy Austin (Joan); his children, Jessica Ballou (Mike), Joessa Austin and Jacob Austin (Caitlyn); his sister-in-law Laurie Haynes (Tom); his brother-in-law Joe Erickson (Carol); his nephew Dan Erickson (Ashley); his niece Amy Capocasa (Mark); his aunt Wanita; his uncle Lyle Gerhardt; his pet Maddie; and also Dana Englund (Larry). He is also survived by many other relatives, friends.
