He was predeceased by: his parents, Axel Pearson and Signe Pearson (Krom); his former wife Marlys Pearson; and his sisters, Eva Strike, Elsa Donaldson and Ethel Kluck.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Mattson; his children, Pam Bosshart (Brian) of Paynesville, MN and Mark Pearson (Debra) of Maple Plain, MN; and his stepchildren, Deuane Mattson (Diane) of St. Paul, MN, Dennis Mattson of Isanti, MN, Annette Akers (Tim) of Isanti, MN, Dan Mattson (Lucy) of Lakeville, MN and Karen Grover (Joe) of Brainerd, MN. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
