He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph "Jud" and Maryann Serich (Grozdanich); his brother James "Jud" Serich; and his nephew Luke Serich. He is survived by: his wife Kristi Serich; his children, Tia Serich (Neal Payne), Tom Sobtzak and Chris Kammeier (Cassie); his grandchildren, Trinity, Gaborik, MaKenna, Taeli Jo, Jace, Kendall, Ben and Stormy; and his siblings, Teresa Sutherland (Rodger Brown), Helen Serich (Dan) and Steve Serich (April). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
