He is survived by: his former wife France; his wife Muriel Foster Ash (Estabrooks); his children, Linda Kosola and Gary Foster; his grandson David Foster; his siblings, Howard Ash, Jr., Mildred "Millie" Wirta, Piri, Alice Ann Kosola and Elaine Michaelson Yaw; and his children, Lloyd Ash, Jr. (Sara) of South Carolina, Howard M. Ash, II (Gail) of South Carolina, Nina Evans of South Carolina, Retta Zufall of Calumet, Chester W. "Bub" Foster of Calumet, Bill Foster of Hibbing, Carol McNamara (Steve) of Bovey, Don Foster (RaChelle) of Hibbing and Terri Salminen (Shawn) of Hibbing. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
