It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hilding Helgren of Calumet, Minnesota, who passed away on November 4, 2020, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Hilding P. Helgren and Clara Helgren; his significant other Sylvia E. Jensen; and his sisters, Dolores Root-Vauldrin and Gladys Peters.
He is survived by: his children, Gerald "Jerry" Helgren (Lydia), Richard Helgren (Kim), Mona Sjostrand (Rob) and Cheryl Savaloja (Chedy); his sisters-in-law, Verna Rajkovich, Ilene Hughes (Patrick) and Gloria Kantola (Loren); his grandchildren, Rob, Shelly, Becky, Justin, Sara, Megan, Linda, Valerie, Jennifer and Nathan; his great grandchildren, Kelsi, Drew, Madi, Easton, Nico, Maija, Rylee, Allison, Kylee, Ragnar, Magnus, Baylor and Rylan; his great great grandchild Averi; his grandchildren, Lori, David and Erik; and also, Wayne, Ilene, Gloria and Dona. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
