He was predeceased by: his father Robert Mitchell; and his brother Michael. He is survived by: his mother Karen Mitchell (Krogh); his wife Sherri; his children, Abbi Mitchell, Tyler Zitzow (Ilse), Lucas and Jacob Mitchell; his grandchildren, Maddie Mitchell and Zitzow; his brother Gordy Mitchell (Karen); his mother-in-law Lynn Lund (Tim); his siblings-in-law, Sheila Anderson (Tim), Sarah LaFriniere and Shane LaFriniere (Janice); and his grandmother Phyllis St. Claire. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
