He was predeceased by: his parents, Sankey Schermerhorn and Anna Schermerhorn (Kubiszewski); and his brothers, Bud and Roy. He is survived by: his close friend Doris Stanton of Frazee, MN; his wife Doris Schermerhorn (Stanton); his children, Nancy Vyborny of Detroit Lakes, MN, Jeff Schermerhorn (Antonette) of Canadian, TX, Perry Schermerhorn (Lynda) of Gig Harbor, WA, Jenni Shea (Tim) of San Marcos, CA and Amy Nelson (Tim) of Rochert, MN; and his sister Bernice Serdahl of Eureka, CA. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
