Doris Ann Schermerhorn Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Doris Ann Schermerhorn of Callaway, Minnesota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 6, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Stanton and Rachel Stanton (Gandesbery); and her husband Gene. She is survived by:, Doris, Nany Vyborny of Detroit Lakes, MN, Jeffrey Shermerhorn (Antonette) of Canadian, TX, Perry Shermerhorn (Lynda) of Gig Harbor, WA, Jenni Shea (Tim) of San Marcos, CA, Amy Nelson (Tim) of Rochert, MN, Bill and Pat Smith of Camas, WA. She is also survived by her 12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church (23115 Co Hwy 14, Callaway, MN 56521). A memorial service will be held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. The inurnment will be held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Oak Grove Cemetery (515 US-59, Detroit Lakes, MN 56501).
