He was predeceased by: his parents, Sherrill Franklin and Charlotte Franklin of Okeechobee, FL; and his siblings, Kathy Franklin and Gary Franklin of Port St. He is survived by: his wife Leda Franklin; his sister Marsha (Terry) of Virginia; his siblings-in-law, Vicky of Port St, Matthew Jaster of Lake Park, Kyle Jaster (Tina) of Detroit Lakes, DeeAnna Brockway and Anita Coons (Bruce) of Eau Claire, WI.; his nieces and nephews, Gary Franklin (Ashley), Kyle (Sarah), Eric Johnson (Chantelle), Matthew Jaster II (Sarah), Wesley (Shae), Benjamin (Valla), Henry Jaster, Dayton Coons (Brianna), Janie (Shaun), Kathy (John), Angie (Kelvin), Lori Franklin (Logan), Stephanie Johnson and Ciera Coons (Jacob); and his great-niece Jane Elizabeth Jaster.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church (23115 Co Hwy 14, Callaway, MN 56521). A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
