He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Moenck and Lila Moenck (Andersen); his mother-in-law Elnora Weymiller; and his siblings-in-law, Dave Winslow and Debbie Moenck.

He is survived by: his wife Carolyn; his children, Angela Palen (Matt) of Norwalk, IA and Tim Moenck (Jackie) of La Crescent, MN; and his grandchildren, Bethany, Jack, Matthew, Julia and Luke Palen. He is also survived by Many NIeces, Nephews, Cousins, as well as many great friends.
