He was predeceased by: his parents, Adolph Stark and Elizabeth Stark; and his siblings, Lawrence, Henry, Fredrick, Cecelia, Dorothy, Bertha and Patricia.

He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann; his children, Mary Jo Hyland (Jim) of San Jose, CA, Thomas Stark (Kathleen) of San Diego, CA, Patrick Stark (Lisa) of Huntington Beach, CA and Michael (Wendy) of Caledonia, MN; his grandchildren, Jamie and Maggie Hyland; his son Robert A. Stark; his stepgrandchild Jamilla Prince; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Philip, Joseph, Kaden and Kira.

The family appreciates the community's love and support, but because of Covid considerations there will not be a public visitation.

Instead of flowers as an expression of sympathy, the family welcomes memorials which will be used for Caledonia Area Schools extra-curricular activities.
