She was predeceased by: her parents, Alf Reierson and Margaret Reierson (Smith); her husband Matthew Merzenich; her sons, Joseph and Terry Allen; and her sisters, Alta Reierson, Marie Schmitz and Sonia Palen.

She is survived by: her children, Julie Merzenich of Caledonia, Jackie Colsch (Doug) of LaCrescent and Jim Merzenich (Janet) of Baxter, MN; her grandchildren, Tyler, Meagan, Brett, Cody, Jack and Jessica; her great grandchild Tayla Jo; and her close friend Christi Masters (Kelly). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
