He was predeceased by: his parents, Frieda Meyer (Beneke) and Henry Meyer; and his wife Luella. He is survived by: his children, Bruce (Shelley) and Jody Bird; his grandsons, A. J. and Tanner; his great grandchild Charlie; his siblings-in-law, Linda Meyer, Beverly Meyer, Elaine Burroughs (Milton), Lee Breeser (Joan) and John Jr. Breeser (Sharon); his son-in-law Chris Bird; his in-laws, Laura and John Breeser; his brothers, Norbert (Doris Ann), Irvin and Ronald Meyer; and his sister-in-law Ruth Breeser.
