He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Welscher and Susan Welscher (Ernster); his wife Mary Welscher (Lorenz); his children, Jackie Becker (Henry) of Rushford, MN, Jeanie Homewood (Dennis) of Dorchester, IA, John Welscher (Dianne), Joe Welscher (Nancy), Jim Welscher (Laura) of Caledonia, MN, Judy Christian (Pat) of Rushford, MN, Jan Welscher (Sandy), Jay Welscher (Angie) of Caledonia, MN and Janice Haxton (Bob) of Rollingstone, MN.; his sisters-in-law, Carol Welscher and Josephine Gavin; his children, Jean Ann and Jeff; his siblings, Rosemary Frank (Ray), Bert Welscher, Milton Welscher (Beverly) and MaryAnn Schmitz (Willie); and his parents-in-law, Marguerite, Anton Feldmeier, Bud, Helen Mullen, Bill Gavin, Willie Lorenz and Charles Lorenz. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
