She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Alfred Billhorn and Wilma Billhorn (Anderson); her husband Lyle Lapham of Caledonia; her friends, Laurel Rusert and Kathy Danaher; her brothers, Jon Billhorn (Barb) of DeWitt and Don Billhorn (Mary Lou) of Readlyn, Iowa; her foster son Joseph Hayes (Jane); her children, Deborah Wray (Charles) of Caledonia, Loren Lapham (Carol) of Caledonia, Wesley Lapham (Carrie) of Caledonia, Steven Lapham of Caledonia and Coleen Pinkowski (John) of Kirksville, Missouri; her daughters-in-law, Sharen Lapham and Lisa Lapham; and also Denmark. She was also cherished by 14 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

Due to COVID-19, the family will hold a memorial service at a later date.
