She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael McCarthy and Elizabeth McCarthy (Scanlan); her siblings, Helen Mellick, Stella Urbain, Holly Mae and Charlie McCarthy; and her grandson Casey Becker.
She is survived by: her son Richard Kerndt (Deb) of Rochester; her stepchildren, Ashley Bright, Maria Ziegler, Sophia Ruelle (Joe), Athena and Dylan Ziegler; her great grandchild Charlie Kerndt (Suzy) of Traverse City; and her children, Austin (Allison), Garrett, Connor Kerndt, Joannie Becker (Joe) of Hastings, Lindsey, Mikki and Charlie Becker. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Father Foster's Endowment Fund in care of St. Gerald's Catholic Church, 7859 Lakeview Street, Ralston, NE. 68127.
