She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Edmund Pfiffner and Clara Pfiffner (Miller); her former spouse Clem Welch; her brother Dan; her children, Karen Callan (Mike) of Coon Valley, WI, Kevin Welch of La Crosse, WI, Janelle Krueger (Andrew) of Summerfield, NC, Lynda Bauer (Glen) of Campobello, SC and Craig Welsh (Nancy) of Caledonia, MN.; her grandchildren, Ryan Callan (Autumn), Kelly Callan, April Parker (Malcolm), Whitney Schmidt (Nolan), Mitchel, Rachel, Cole and Shaylie Welsh; her great grandchildren, Tertius, Isaiah Parker, Ezri, Cerek Schmidt and Imelda Callan; her husband Bob Welsh; and her sisters-in-law, Sarah Welsh (Dan), Essie Welsh (Bill), Betty Welsh (Lloyd) and Maralyn Welsh (Jerry). She was also cherished by nieces and nephews.

Social distancing guidelines will be in effect and masks required.

Memorials may be directed to the St. Mary's Catholic Church, Caledonia, MN.

“I was married to Leona's nephew Clarence. When we were first married in 1960 & we lived closer we saw her & her family a lot. She was always so very nice to me. She always asked about our family & really cared about our life. I have thought about her many times over the years & her sweetness always brought a smile to my face. I"m sure your whole family will miss her happy smiling face. She had many people waiting in Heaven to see her with open arms. Mary Ellen Eglseder”
